Rights of passengers in bus transport

The rights of passengers in bus transport are laid down in Regulation (EU) No 181/2011.

It stipulates 

  • the rights of passengers in cases of cancellation or delay in departure.
  • the rights of disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility.
  • the minimum travel information to be provided to passengers.
  • the rights of passengers in the event of accidents resulting in personal injury or loss of or damage to luggage.

Conciliation body

We respond to customer complaints competently and promptly. Nevertheless, there may be differences of opinion from time to time. TüBus is therefore a member of söp, the Conciliation Body for Public Transport. 
You can contact this body if you do not agree with our response to your complaint. The consumer conciliation body recognised by the Federal Government will review your case and develop a recommendation – free of charge for you – for an amicable, out-of-court settlement of the dispute.
