Semester travel card

The semester travel card is valid for six months for the respective winter or summer semester and only in combination with a valid student identification card. Students who attend university within the VVS, bodo or DING transport association area, but live in Tübingen (naldo) and commute there travel at a very affordable price with the supplementary semester travel card that is valid across all transport association areas – provided they are in possession of a VVS or bodo StudiTicket or a DING semester ticket.

The naldo semester travel card is valid within the entire naldo area.
Exceptions to this are the following routes:

• On bus lines 826/828, the naldo semester travel card is only valid between Tübingen and Dettenhausen.
• On the Gäu Railway route (timetabled route number 740), the semester travel card is only valid between Herrenberg and Ergenzingen, but can also be used on the intercity trains (IC) of Deutsche Bahn within this section.
• The naldo semester travel card is not valid on the intercity trains (IC) of the Neckar-Alb Railway.
• There are sometimes special regulations for on-call transport services.
   

The semester travel card is available at the points of sale in the naldo area, the points of sale in Tübingen or online in the naldo ticket shop.
The supplementary semester travel card is only available from Deutsche Bahn and Hohenzollerische Landesbahn (HzL). Further information about the semester travel card is available on the internet at www.naldo.de and in the brochure "The semester travel card".
 

Up to four children under age six can travel at no extra charge if accompanied by an adult in possession of a valid ticket.
