Children travel cheaper with the single ticket!
A short-trip ticket is valid for one hour after purchase. Transfers are not permitted on short trips, and neither are round and return trips.
The ticket is valid within the Tübingen city fare zone (transit map). You can see how far the short-trip ticket will take you on the timetable at the bus stop or when buying the ticket at the ticket machine. The destination is also printed on the ticket itself. If you want to know the route of the short trip before buying the ticket, check the timetables for the relevant line.
Up to four children under age six can travel at no extra charge if accompanied by an adult in possession of a valid short-trip ticket.
A short-trip ticket can only be bought for the current calendar day and only at ticket machines.
